FIFA (Federation International de Fútbol Association) recién se ha encontrado en las noticias mundiales, y no solamente atañe al fútbol. Primero, se les acusan o desconfían a algunos dignatarios prominentes de la corrupción, el cohecho, y la malversación. Entre estos dignatarios el presidente de FIFA Sepp Blatter abarca, el que ganó re-elección de nuevo no obstante las grandes presiones en su contra. Sin embargo, no ha pasado mucho tiempo y renunció ya.

Blatter, suizo nativo, se ha involucrado en la FIFA durante décadas, y se dice que tal vez él compró votos y participó de numerosas actividades suspicaces durante los años, incluso la malversación. Ganó la re-elección contra el candidato jordano Príncipe Ali Bin Al Hussein. La fecha para la nueva elección de reemplazar a Blatter se decidirá el julio.

La Copa Mundial Femenina actualmente se juega en Canadá, y la próxima Copa Mundial Masculino tomará lugar en Russia 2018, seguida por Qatar en 2022.

FIFA Faces Heavy Scrutinity

FIFA (Federation International de Fútbol Association) has been in the headlines worldwide recently and it's not just about soccer. First, several high ranking officials are accused or suspected of corruption, bribery and misappropriation of funds. Of these include FIFA's President Sepp Blatter, who was reelected despite the many pressures against him. However, it didn't take long for him to step down.

Blatter, a native Swiss, has been with FIFA for decades1. He reportedly bought votes and has been involved in numerous suspicious activities over the years, including embezzlement. He won reelection against Jordanian candidate Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein. Тhe date for the new election to replace Blatter will be decided in July.2

The Women's World Cup is currently being played in Canada, and the next Men's World Cup will be in Russia in 2018, followed by Qatar in 2022.
